Shipping
All care is taken in our studio in Copenhagen to send out each piece in perfect condition. We are not responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged in the post. All orders are shipped securely with GLS or DHL.
While we hope that you are pleased with your order, if you are not satisfied with your order, you may return your order within 14 days* from the day you received the item. All items are produced in limited quantities and as such, we cannot guarantee stock availability for exchanges. We suggest you communicate with our customer service team at customercare@louise-javier.net prior to committing to any decision in regard to exchanging an item. Please read the return and exchange procedure below.
Return and Exchange procedure
If you wish to return or exchange an item, you are required to email us at customercare@louise-javier.net. Please include your order number, name of the style(s) in question, and the reason for the return request. Once the written request is received and approved, we will reply to your request with written confirmation including the return authorization number along with the return shipping address. You must clearly label your return shipping package, on the exterior, with your return authorization number. Once again, please note that you are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning the item(s) and no return shipping label will be provided.
Once your return is received, it will undergo a quality review. Please allow up to 7 days for this to be completed. Once items have passed inspection, a refund will be processed and a credit automatically applied to your original method of payment within 7 working days. Please note that it may take your financial institution additional time to process the transaction and update your bank statement.
Be aware that we reserve the right to decline unauthorized returns and categorically won’t accept any items that have been worn, washed, and/or have been subject to alterations from their original state at time of delivery. In the event the returned merchandise does not pass the quality check and is not approved, we reserve the right to withhold any refund payment and keep the returned merchandise.
Delivery and Prices
We ship globally from our studio in Denmark with GLS or DHL.
We deliver to the EU within 1-3 business days and the rest of the world within 2-8 business days.
If you order several items and one or more are out of stock, we will partially ship the products available and inform you via email about the delivery window of the remaining products.
The delivery times below are estimates.
We will not be held responsible if the delay or if failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control such as if a package is lost by one of our carriers. If the package is not picked up, any kind of fee is added, and you will be charged the extra cost and expenses associated with the return shipment. This includes freight charges, any extra payments, duties, taxes, return charges, any additional fees, etc.
Please note that the risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to you after delivery. If the package appears to be damaged or opened upon arrival, you should refuse to receive the products. If you wish to complain about any lack of conformity, or we have delivered the incorrect products, please contact our Customer Care. You are not responsible for costs associated with the return of non-conforming or incorrect products.
Refund
To prevent fraud, we are only able to refund the amount to the credit card that was used to place the order. We are entitled to retain the refund until we have received the items or proof of return of the items has been presented to us whichever is the earlier.
It should be noted that we will not refund customs and VAT for orders shipped to customers outside the EU, where the deliveries are refused by the customer or because the customer was not home to receive the delivery. All sales taxes will be refunded to customers within the EU. Please allow up to 14 days for us to process your refund.
